#HumptySharmaKiDulhania #Review

#HumptySharmaKiDulhania #Review

it was year 1995 when Bollywood got its one of the most romantic film, yes it was #DDLJ. last year it was Rohit shetty who relived memories of 1995 epic in his own style, & here is its latest re defined version in 2014 in form of #HumptySharmaKiDulhania .

Alia Bhatt as Kavya Pratap Singh wants a wedding designer dress & decides to go to Delhi to purchase it.Its here only where she meets Varun Dhawan as Rakesh "Humpty" Sharma. Both help each other in getting what they wished for respectively.

There isn't much here in terms of story line here, neither is something which requires critical appreciation. it would have been a complete let down had it not been saved by terrific performance by its leads. The both are young energetic and their chemistry is fabulous on screen.

Flawed script also is saved by support cast who provide genuine laughable moments. Gaurav Pandey as Shonty & Sahil Vaid as Poplu are awesome in comic scenes. It was so good to see a dynamic ever reliable consistent Ashutosh Rana as Mr. Singh, Kavya's father, he justifies his role perfectly.

Some movies entertain you and are meant for you to enjoy and don't think too much about them. and this is one of them.

I am going with 2.5/5, its not the great cinema but certainly will entertain you. Bare with its length and you will not feel disappointed

Happy weekend @ cinemas !!.

#LekarHumDeewanaDil : Time Waste !!

#LHDD #LekarHumDeewanaDil

Directed by Arif Ali #LekarHumDeewanaDil is made while keeping a certain target audience in mind. Director though hits only this correct note while making this highly repetitive & torturous movie.

Armaan Jain as Dinesh "Dino" Nigam & Deeksha Seth as Karishma Shetty are two young college buddies who decide to get married with each other in order to run away from arrange marriage. What follows next is their reality check with life, which is predictably not as they initially had though off.

This formula is a common feature in every debut-ant actor/actress first movie, that its high time directors should choose a fresh concept to make a launchpad for star sons. From screen play to music, scene to chemistry of co stars, there is just nothing new or fresh anywhere. There are moments here and there when you occasionally feel good, else it all falls flat. Senior Actress Rohini Hattangadi plays a cameo here and its only her which makes acting looks so natural on screen.

I am going with 0.5/5 for #LHDD its a pure time waste, watch #FIFA#WimbledonFinal, else go for a dinner, but don't go on screen to watch this.

Enjoy Cinemas !!

#BobbyJasoos

In its opening chase sequence of #BobbyJasoos reminds me of the Bond series, but it was the only scene where my thoughts went completely wrong.

Vidya Balan as Bilkis Ahmed/Bobby is trying hard to become a detective,Rejected from all end she starts her own private detective agency. Luck goes her way and she gets a case from a rich man. Some half a dozen characters are also inserted to goof up the story, which are of not much use.Ali Fazal as Tasawur is TV host make an earnest appearance.

Directed by Samar Shaikh & produced by Dia Mirza #BobbyJasoos was an excellent idea to begin with. A female lead protagonist in search of clues after clues, nudging the thread to find the culprit, sounds fascinating. But #BobbyJasoos lacks on your aspirations.

Basic sense of thrill, excitement & what's next feeling is missing here completely. The films pace is sluggish & a love chapter is needlessly introduced. Film also misses out completely on back ground score rather music department, which often sets the tone for thriller joy ride.

Keeping its faults apart, I am delighted to see another earnest performance from #VidyaBalan, she deserves thunderous applause for her constant innovation to kill stereotype image of Bollywood actresses. She is bold, bindass & beautyful. Also #Hyderabad is shown beautifully.

Generous enough, i am going with 2/5 for #BobbyJasoos its not something great but watch it because it has its heart at the right place.

Enjoy Cinemas !!

***** Ek Villain *****

Initial moments in the movie and a death of lead protagonist leads #Ekvillainwhat looks like an interesting movie.

But hopes fade away as soon as they came, Story sticks to baseless flashbacks, which look repetitive. A love story at heart there could have have been so so much to deliver.

Shraddha Kapoor as Aisha Verma is cute & beautiful. Sidharth Malhotra as Guru is steady & smart. Riteish Deshmukh as Rakesh Mahadkar is up with something new but little bit unconventional. The adjectives i use are intentional because their acting skills hasn't impressed me much.

But the biggest disappointment comes from Director Mohit Suri who direction & narrative style is vague & dull. Often it bores you to its core.Music as always its been a USP of Mohit Suri's movies so is this time, but won't change the fate of this much.

I am going with 1.5/5 for #EkVillain, it could have been so so much better what it turned out to be. Watch it if you are not following with #FIFA or#Wimbledon .
